Our Staff and Leaders
The leadership of Redmond Presbyterian Church is composed of the staff, a governing body of Elders called the Session, and a group of congregational care-givers called the Board of Deacons. In order to contact a deacon, call the office at (425) 885-2811.

The elder elected as clerk should understand the responsibilities and duties of the Session, have knowledge of Presbyterian Church government, and be willing to learn basic parliamentary procedure. -
Lori Dorn
The fellowship elder is the spiritual leader who oversees the work of gathering the congregation in communal events. This includes, but is not limited to, weekly coffee time, special annual events, and online gatherings for the whole congregation. -
The elder of communications is the spiritual leader tasked with helping the church share the news and events of our congregation with those inside and beyond our church walls. This includes updating our website, social media, and creating community publications.

The elder of worship is the spiritual leader with the responsibility of ensuring that our regular weekly worship services run smoothly. This elder works with the pastor to ensure worship is creative, meaningful, and shared by everyone in the church.

Andrew Smith
The elder of finance and personnel is the spiritual leader who is asked to oversee the month-to-month financial realities of the church. In collaboration with the finance committee this elder helps to build and maintain the budget. He is also tasked with helping RPC to build and maintain a healthy and productive working environment

The mission and social concerns elder is the spiritual leader tasked with helping RPC put our faith into action locally and globally. This work is done with our direct action as well as our financial support.

The adult spiritual formation elder is the spiritual leader tasked with helping the RPC community grow in its faith through education, discussion, and small groups

The children and youth elder is the spiritual leader who helps RPC fulfill our promises made to children at their baptisms to grow in knowledge and love of Christ.

The buildings and grounds elder is the spiritual leader asked to help RPC care for and maintain our physical property. This elder works closely with the staff and session to monitor all ongoing maintenance projects.
